Who Wants to Hang Out?
Well apparently everyone and their kitchen sink either has plans tmrw night already, or is ditching plans with me to do something else. It sucks...So I'm looking for people to go with to Skelles tmrw...not really cause I need a ride (though possibly on the way back home..depending on the times PsyOpus and See You Next Tuesday play, vs. The Rapid schedule) but more because going to shows completely by yourself just isn't cool hehe.

Xanga is Dead and MySpace Killed It
Sadly it's true..it has been over a month since any on my subscriptions list has updated their xangas...and even more for several of them...The same goes for several of my subscribers...
The only thing I can think of that may be the cause of this is MySpace...I admit I use MySpace alot myself...but not really for blogging..mostly for finding new music and networking. Cause honestly, MySpace's blog system sucks IMO.
I really don't enjoy blogging much on MySpace...but I also don't do it much here anymore neither. That's mainly because life really hasn't done anything interesting to speak of. I mean that's not to say life sucks...cause even bad things are interesting...life just hasn't changed...
So is that perhaps what it is? Has the world all but completely stopped and everyone's just fallen into repetition and a lack of change? I'm just curious as to whether or not anyone who ever reads this by chance might be able to explain this phenomena...

Booking a Tour in GR
Well I recently have taken a great burden upon my shoulders, and I am looking for some help. There is a tour coming through this area on February 27th, featuring the bands Sender Receiver, Secretary, and Me and Him Call It Us. The thing SR (Sender Receiver) lost their contact in the local area, and so now are having trouble getting this show booked. I decided to step up to the plate, but I admit that my lack of experience in this arena is proving itself slightly troublesome. So I am looking to see if anyone else who might be reading this either themselves, or knows someone who could either help me out with some info on how to do this right, or perhaps even help me directly. I'm going to try right now to get this show booked at Skelletones, but as I mentioned I'm not 100% sure on how to do it...I figured before I just call up Mirf (guy who owns skelles for those unaware) not knowing what I'm doing, that I'd try to get some info from some ppl who might know a thing or 2 about the subject firstly.
This information is quite time-sensitive, so the sooner ppl can get back to me, the better.

I am Truly Hated, as We All Are
Well today I've come to the conclusion that the rest of the world absolute hates me. Ok that sounds Emo..allow me to elaborate further before you think this is an Emo "uggh...my parents hate me" rant.
I've come to the conclusion that the rest of the world hates me because I'm AMERICAN.

I didn't do anything bad, I'm nice to ppl, and I just try to follow the Golden Rule...and yet...I feel like ppl hate me because I'm an American...I've done nothing to them, and yet I get the distinct feeling they look down on me for being American.

This really sucks in a way...I mean I shouldn't really care too much, but I kinda do. idk...I just don't like the idea that no matter how nice I am to the rest of the world outside of America, I'm always going to be looked down upon.

I don't look down on other ppl for being from other countries...idk. Anywho, I just thought I'd mention that after talking to Germans, Austrians, and other various Europeans all day that no matter what I do, I'm crap to them.

In Class
Well I'm sitting here in class after having essentially aced my midterm exam. I finished the model in less than an hour, and the written portion in a massive 10 minutes .
I'm just really bored atm and so I thought I'd make a post. I am doing extremely well in this class (3d animation) I'm pretty sure. I also believe I am doing quite well in English.
The other 2 classes I'm not so sure about...Physics has grown quite convoluted and confusing...I fear I may end up repeating that class. Well I shouldn't say I fear it...I have found that retaking a class not only generally improves my GPA, but also really makes the material really stick. I'd hate to fail (or at a minimum not do very well), but we'll just have to see. Should I fail, I'm not going to give up. No sir...I just have to go back at it and try again.
As far as the Music class goes, I am just having trouble catching on to Music Theory. It's always been a little beyond me, and this class has alot more of it than I expected. The concept of using computers for music is fairly easy to grasp, it's just the music theory stuff. The nice thing about this class is it's only 2 credits, and isn't needed really for my associates degree. However the Physics class is and as such has me kinda worried. Once again though, I stand by my statement, that should I not do so well in that class, I'm not going to give up. Most ppl fail and either don't care, or they give up. Not me...I keep on trying.

In other news I may have managed to locate a job for myself. I don't want to go posting the details here (so others don't steal my job prospects hehe) but needless to say I am actually kinda stoked. I really need a job so I can continue to feed my addictions (soda, games, music, and gear) as well as continue to survive. Right now I'm mostly just surviving, and I need something a bit more.

Well anywho that's about it for now. If I come up with some more stuff, perhaps I shall post.

Bored
So Sam and I have grown some what bored of our current game collection. Namely our PS2 collection, but slightly towards the PC collection as well. We have decided to get Guitar Hero 2 this wekk, as we might be able to actually afford it. However we still would like to consider getting some new games for the PS2 at some point as well.
The reason we want new PS2 game so much, is because we sort of bond that way hehe. We have NEVER really played any PC games together cept for WoW...which we'd LOVE to get back to, but that's another story.
So I ask you, America, what PS2 games would you suggest? We don't necessarily need something multiplayer, but that does help. We just need something really fun. We both love playing games, but she gets a real kick out of watching me play a game as well.
Now here's our current library, just to give a you a gist of what we have and what we might like to play hehe:

So the boys and I were discussing the need for a good band name last evening, and I decided to try and spark interest and to put a last bit of life for the name "The H. Ross Perot Soup Kitchen Bandits"....and unfortunately they did not bite...so it seems the Bandits may never truly come to life under that moniker...however another name will be in the works, and I'm trying to come up with some good ideas. I have one that I think is kind of interesting, but I don't know if anyone else would really get it. Anywho, that's about it...I'm exhausted...l8r.

There's a good chance that I won't be able to afford to buy the copy I have on reserve next week Tuesday, so if anyone else I know is interested in getting it, you could prolly use my reserve. At least as it currently stands. If things change I'll let you know, but for now that's the way it's gonna go.
